How Love Won:The Fight for Marriage Equality in Minnesota is a documentary that leaves audiences cheering. It’s an uplifting political and personal film about people beating the odds, changing perceptions about same-sex marriage, and in the process changing how they view themselves.

Before Minnesota, 30 states in a row had voted against same-sex marriage. Savvy organizing, a massive number of volunteers and a secret weapon turned the tide.

We’re working to get this film into theaters — starting with film festivals including the Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival, South By South West, AFI Docs and many more. To do that, we need to raise money to pay for the theatrical rights to some of the music in the film (about $3,900), pay for professional promotion materials such as a “coming attractions” trailer, and pay the festival entry fees. We need to raise at least $6,000 to make this happen.

This is one of the most inspiring political stories of our time. Help us so this story can live on and continue to inspire others.
